When should you use it?
Generally speaking, you will tick "use nearest document group" if you have an individual document group assigned to each question and wish to load the documents into these, rather than into a Document Group assigned at the section-level. If you are unsure please discuss this with the Customer Success Team.
What happens when you select this option:
If you select the use nearest document group option the import will place Documents into the Document Group nearest in the tree to the Question to which the Document Evidence Item is mapped.
If it is not checked, the Document Groups will be assigned based on Envelope options (Technical to Technical etc)
NB Selecting this option will override any Supplier Documents options you have made
